The Highgate Private Hospital Imaging Department is fully-equipped with the latest state of the art imaging equipment including Digital X-Ray, interventional radiology, 1.5T Wide Bore MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scanner, CT (Computed Tomography) scanner and Ultrasound. These scans offer patients the highest quality imaging which is vital for rapid diagnosis and improved outcomes.

A Quality Service
Our department is staffed by State Registered Radiographers and Consultant Radiologists and operates in accordance with guidelines produced by the Royal College of Radiologists and College of Radiographers.
We are also registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) *and accredited by all major insurers including BUPA, AXA Health and WPA.
The department uses a fully integrated digital PACS viewing system. This allows Consultants to instantly view investigations in their consulting room or at any terminal in the hospital.

Referrals and Appointments
We offer a walk-in service for plain x-ray examinations and can offer same day appointments for routine ultrasound scans. Appointments for CT, MRI and other complex examinations will be offered for the first available appointment or an alternative time suitable to your schedule. Please note that a referral letter is needed to access this service.
Appointments are recommended for all examinations. These can be arranged by calling the Imaging Department on 020 8347 3866.
