How long can I expect to stay in hospital for?
How long you stay in hospital will depend on what time of day you undergo surgery. Most patients, however, are kept in for one or two nights following their procedure.

Incisions are made around the ears and along the hairline, meaning that all scars will be hidden by your hair.
Will a Facelift cause lots of bruising?
Facelifts normally result in some swelling and bruising. However, this will start to ease after a couple of days. You will also be able to apply a little make up after a few days.
How long will I have stiches for?
Stiches are typically removed 7-10 days following the procedure.
Will I be able to return to work straight away?
It’s always a good idea to rest for a few days following an operation that is carried out under general anaesthetic. Though most people feel well enough to return to work after one week, you may want to wait until your stitches have been removed.
Does this type of surgery have an age limit?
This really depends on the individual. While the majority of patients are aged between 40 and 60, many successful Facelift procedures have been performed on people in their 70s who are in good health.
