At Highgate Private Hospital, we are experts in carrying out imaging and diagnostic tests and scans on all parts of the body.

Our Radiology Department is fully equipped with advanced technologies and equipment to ensure we can scan any part of the body as required. Test and scans available at the hospital include:

  • CT Scans (including cardiac, interventional and angiography)
  • Digital Fluoroscopy
  • Interventional Radiology (ultrasound, X-ray and CT-guided interventional procedures including steroid injections, hydrodilation, hydrodistension, arthrograms, biopsies and aspirations)
  • MRI Scanning
  • Ultrasound Scanning (including early pregnancy scans)
  • X-ray

Our Radiology Department is staffed by Senior Radiographers and Consultant Radiologists and operates in accordance with guidelines produced by the Royal College of Radiologists and Society of Radiographers. We are also registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and accredited by all major insurers including BUPA, AXA Health and WPA.

At Highgate Hospital we offer a walk in service for X-ray, however all other examinations such as MRI and CT scans will require an appointment. These can be arranged by our friendly appointments team by calling 020 3944 0131

Please note all examinations apart from early pregnancy ultrasound scans require a referral letter under IRMER regulations. The first available appointment will be offered to you or an alternative time suitable to your schedule.
