You do not have to be insured to come to Highgate Private Hospital, in fact, many of our patients choose to pay for their own treatment.

Payments for all procedures are to be made prior to your treatment date at the hospital.

Having a GP referral is helpful but not always a necessity so give us a call to find out if we are able to offer you an appointment for any treatment that is self-funded.
Not registered with a GP?
Don’t worry, we have Private GP Services available 6 days a week and all of our GPs are supported by our state of the art Diagnostic and Imaging Suite for x-ray, ultrasound, MRI and CT scanning as well as having quick access to a variety of consultants and specialists within the hospital, if necessary.

We accept all major credit cards and debit cards (excluding AMEX), cash and cheques (must be cleared prior to admission).
We require all patients to register a debit or credit card upon arrival.
