6 members of staff at Highgate Hospital are lacing up their running shoes yet again, to raise money for charity, whilst keeping fit and representing the local comuntity. Highgate Hospital has chosen to support The 'Help Smile Trust'. The charity aims to help the 230,000 children born with cleft lip and palate deformities in less economically developed countries, where operating equipment and trained doctors are scarse.
The British 10k run will take place on the 14th July and the hospital's staff will just be a few out of the hundreds who are planning to participate. The 'Help Smile Trust' is just one of the many charities that are being supported by this incredible event.
