Highgate Private Hospital is sponsoring the champagne reception for Highgate Golf Club’s charity event, held to raise funds for and awareness of North London Hospice.
The annual event will be held on Thursday September 12 and will see the return of TV and radio presenter Henry Kelly who will once again host the charity auction.
Other highlights of the event will include an 18-Hole Shotgun start to the day, prize-giving ceremony, a BBQ dinner and a raffle.
Organiser and club member David Stenhouse said: “This will be the sixth year Highgate Hospital has helped sponsor to the event and we are extremely grateful to them for their continued support.
“To date these annual events have raised more than £117,000 to help North London Hospice carry out its fantastic work and we look forward to contributing to the fundraising once again this year.”
North London Hospice helps those with a potentially life-limiting illness who have specialist needs. Care is provided to help them physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Mark Lyons, director at Highgate Private Hospital, said: “We are proud to be a part of the local community and wanted to show our support by getting involved as a sponsor once again of this very worthwhile event.”
Part of the Aspen Healthcare Group, Highgate Private Hospital has been established for more than 25 years and welcomes all patients, whether insured or paying for their own treatment.
The hospital is currently undergoing a £13 million extensive redevelopment and expansion programme which when completed in December 2013 will include 43 patient rooms (all en suite), a High Dependency Unit, four fully-equipped operating theatres, a state of the art Endoscopy Suite, Physiotherapy Suite, 15 Outpatient Rooms, and a Private GP Service.
