Dr Deepak Suri

Dr Suri is a General Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist treating patients with symptoms such as abdominal pain, dyspepsia, reflux, diarrhoea, constipation, rectal bleeding as well as assessing and treating patients with liver dysfunction and abnormal liver tests.

He is fully accredited Endoscopist as well as Clinical Lead for Endoscopy at the Whittington Health NHS Trust, undertaking the full range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy including colonoscopy and ERCP.

Dr Suri believes in a holistic and individualized approach to patients and their symptoms. Often natural and complementary approaches to symptoms can be very useful as part of a management strategy and he is willing to explore these avenues with patients.

His undergraduate training was at University College London. Subsequently, he undertook postgraduate training in general medicine and gastroenterology throughout London including St George’s, Guys, The Middlesex and Royal Free Hospitals. Furthermore, he is academically and clinically trained in hepatology having undertaken research in viral hepatitis at UCL (including writing and MD thesis and working as a senior registrar at the Royal Free Liver Unit).
