Mr Fowlis obtained a BSc(Hons) from Yale University, USA and MB BS BCh medical degree from UCD. He subsequently trained in general surgery and urology in London, obtaining FRCS(Eng), MD, FRCS(Urol) and FEBU; as well as several awards, including the Shackman fellowship and BUF robotic training award.

He has over 20 years experience as a Consultant Urological Surgeon, having worked as an NHS consultant for 15 years and in full time Independent Practice for the past 5 years. His work covers all aspects of general urology, with sub-speciality interest in oncology.

He tailors treatment to each individual patient and always involves every patient in all aspects of their management, including investigations and choice of treatment. Mr Fowlis goes the extra mile to ensure that every patient fully understands their condition and its management, and are involved in the treatment choices during the decision making process.
