Clinical interests:

Electrophysiological diagnosis of nerve and muscle disorders.

Training & background:

Dr Youl is a consultant clinical neurophysiologist with a special interest in the diagnosis of peripheral nerve and muscle disorders using standard nerve conduction and electromyographic techniques.  He has worked at the Royal Free since emigrating from Australia in 1993.  His research has focused on the inflammatory basis of neurological disorders.
