You do not need a referral from a doctor to make an appointment for general physiotherapy or sports injury treatment.  However, if you wish to pay with any private health insurance you may have, then most companies will require a referral from your GP or consultant.  It is essential that you check your policy cover and get authorisation from your insurance company before you have a consultation or start treatment.

Approximate appointment durations and costs are as follows:

• £67.50 for an initial assessment (45 minutes)
• £45.00 per follow-up session (30 minutes).

If you wish to cancel or change your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.  A cancellation fee will be charged if an appointment is missed or cancelled without 24 hours notice.
