Body implants
Body implant surgery is a cosmetic procedure whereby an implant is inserted to increase the size or reshape a particular part of the body.
Many of us find that certain parts of our bodies are not shapely enough or in proportion with the rest of our bodies. Implants lift and redefine the shape of your body, perhaps to improve the fit of clothes, enhance an area that cannot be transformed through diet and exercise, achieve a more proportionate figure or simply 
just to increase your confidence and make you feel amazing.
A range of implants are available for both men and women including breasts, buttocks, calves, cheeks, chin and pectoral.
The procedure
The implants are usually made of silicone and come in different sizes and shapes. Implant surgery is performed under general anaesthetic and usually requires an overnight stay in hospital. Your surgeon will make a discrete incision to place the implant, usually behind a muscle.
Your recovery
Recovery depends on the body implant but it is likely that you will need between a week and two weeks off work to rest and recover. You may need to wear an elasticated support garment initially to combat welling and produce the best possible results.
