New Hospital Manager

We are pleased to introduce Mark Lyons as the new Hospital Manager at Highgate Hospital.

Mark originally trained as a mechanical fitter in Ireland, where he grew up.  But, retrained as an ODP (Operating Department Practitioner) at Whipps Cross Hospital, after coming to London in 1990 for a holiday.

He has over eighteen years experience working in a number of hospitals in eastern England, including Great Ormond Street and Colchester General Hospital.  He originally came to Highgate Hospital as an OPD on a bank basis before taking up the position of Theatre Manager for nearly two years.

Mark has already overseen a number of changes at Highgate since his appointment and is focused on continuing to improve and develop the services offered to patients and healthcare professionals.
