Psychiatrists usually conduct examinations of your physical and mental state and trace your personal and family history.
Psychology deals with all internal aspects of the mind, such as memory, feelings, thoughts and perception, as well as external features such as speech and behaviour. It is also concerned with intelligence, learning and personality development.
Our service We provide outpatient clinics in both psychiatry and clinical psychology on a one-to-one basis at Highgate Hospital. The personal content of sessions is strictly confidential to the consultant and all our consultants are bound by the code of ethics and practice of their respective professional associations.
