Infertility has many different causes including blocked or damaged fallopian tubes, endometriosis, failure of ovulation, fibroids and hostile cervical mucus for women and failure of sperm production, low motility, abnormalities and antibodies for men.

Our service
At Highgate Hospital we offer a full range of fertility services and treatments with all the necessary diagnostic back up.  As well as a variety of Consultant Gynaecologists, the London Female and Male Fertility Centre, run by Mr Abdel Gadir (a Consultant Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist), is also based at the hospital. 

You will have an initial outpatient consultation to discuss both partners' medical history and explore some of the options, investigations and treatments available to you. The hospital has an onsite Radiology facility where any diagnostic tests or scans can be carried out, and should further treatment be required it can usually be started almost immediately. In other words, we will guide you through your treatment from beginning to end with the personal and tailor-made care for which Highgate Hospital is renowned.  Our range of services includes:

• Clinical and surgical gynaecology
• Advanced male fertility investigations
• Assisted reproduction techniques (IVF, IUI, GIFT, ZIFT ANS ICSI)
