Health screening for men and women is available throughout the week. Tailored to your age, sex and medical history, a Highgate Hospital health screen offers a range of tests coupled with time spent with our health screen nurse and health screening doctor.

You will be asked to complete a detailed questionnaire before your screen and will have the opportunity to raise any fears, worries or concerns you may have about any aspect of your health.

You may refer yourself to this service. Everyone is susceptible to illness and so can benefit from the positive action and peace of mind resulting from a health screen. certain diseases are more common in particular age groups and these will be targeted during your health screen. 

However you may particularly benefit:

• after the birth of your baby
• before taking up physical exercise
• where there is a family history of illness such as heart disease, diabetes or cancer
