 Easily accessible from Central London and the Home Counties, Highgate Hospital is a private hospital located in the centre of leafy Highgate, North London. Renowned for our high standards of nursing care and friendly atmosphere, we also pride ourselves on being North London’s local private hospital. The hospital opened in 1980 and has been part of Aspen Healthcare since 2003, together with Holly House Hospital in Essex, Parkside Hospital and Parkside Oncology Clinic both in Wimbledon. The Hospital is registered with the Care Quality Commission, which regulates all health and social care services in England, whether provided by the NHS, local authorities, private companies or voluntary organisations.
With three operating theatres and six outpatient consulting rooms, including a minor treatment room, we can accommodate all types of treatment from mole removal to hip replacement. We have a fully equipped Radiology facility providing a range of diagnostic services on site including x-ray, ultrasound and MRI scanning. Our onsite pharmacy provides private prescriptions for both outpatients and inpatients, as well as over-the-counter medication.
Treatment facilities include a physiotherapy department, with gym area, staffed by chartered physiotherapists. We have a dedicated private GP suite and a Fertility Clinic. Highgate is also one of London’s leading cosmetic surgery centres.
We have 28 patient bedrooms all with ensuite facilities, satellite television and a direct dial telephone, as well as comfortable seating for visitors. We cater for all dietary requirements, serving a superb selection of freshly prepared dishes including vegetarian and kosher choices and special diets such as gluten-free.
Whether you are an inpatient, day case or outpatient you will be cared for by a team of professionals who are dedicated to ensuring you receive the best possible treatment. We work with over 130 of London’s most experienced consultants and other specialists, many of whom also have substantive posts within the NHS, and also have a doctor on-site 24 hours a day. All our nurses are fully qualified and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
