Training & Background
Nilesh Sojitra has trained extensively in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery having undertaken his training both in the UK (London) and internationally. At University College London, he pursued research into nerve injuries and scarring which led to the award of a Masters degree.
Mr Sojitra is entered into the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. He is currently a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Royal Free, University College London, Mount Vernon and Luton & Dunstable hospitals. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London and is involved in the training of plastic surgeons.
Mr Sojitra has published comprehensively within plastic surgery literature throughout his career and regularly presents his work internationally at plastic surgery conferences. He is actively involved in training young surgeons. He has also been involved with the media through ITV and Channel 4 documentaries.
