Training & Background
Joyti Saksena qualified from the University of Dundee Medical School in 1995. He underwent his basic surgical training (BST) in the UK and Australia before embarking on his specialist orthopaedic training (HST) on The Royal London Hospital Rotation. He has thus worked in the local area since 2002.
Mr Saksena keeps up to date by attending national and international scientific meetings. He is a faculty member on three orthopaedic courses and is an author reviewer for a number of prestigious journals including The Knee, British Medical Journal and the Journal of Case Reports.
In his NHS practice he is an educational supervisor and undertakes the teaching of trainees from the London deanery.
