A multi-disciplinary team of Consultants and specialist sports doctors can offer fast-track assessments and treatment of sports-related injuries, tailored to your individual needs. Our doctors have had or currently have extensive experience in dealing with elite athletes and sportpeople,

Physical activity plays an important role in our daily lives so when an injury occurs, it is only natural that speedy disgnosis and treatment should help us get back on our feet as quickly as possible.

The sports injury service includes:

- same day assessment, radiological imaging e.g X-ray and ultrasound or MRI and CT scanning, and diagosis of injury (depending on appointment time)
- access to a team of specialists including orthopaedic consultants, sports physicians, sports and rehabilitation physiotherapists, osteopaths, nutrition and dietray support, advice on sports law. ethics and medico-legal issues.

For appointments please call the Practice Manager on 020 8348 8684.  Highgate Hospital Sports Injuries service is managed in conjuction with The Sports and Exercise Treatment Rooms Limited.  The price of an initial consultation will be £160 and a follow-up £120 (correct as at March 2006). Any tests or referrals required will be priced accordingly. Both insured patients and those paying for their own treatment may refer to the service.
